Classes for Waqf Nau Members Age Group 4-14

1. Syllabus Classes at Local Level

The National Department of Waqf Nau Canada arranges classes for Waqifin/Waqifat at the Local Level according to the following details:

Local Secretary Waqf Nau is responsible for conducting Waqf Nau classes at the Local level.

For Waqifin (boys) Age 4-14, he should personally conduct the monthly syllabus classes for all Waqifin (boys). However, with the consultation and mutual understanding, he can request Lajna Waqifat Nau In Charge to conduct classes for boys up to age 10.

For Waqifat (girls) Age 4-14, Local Waqifat Nau In Charge, as assistant to Local Lajna president, is responsible for conducting monthly syllabus classes for Waqifat. However, upon request and with approval from Local Secretary Waqf Nau, she can conduct classes for boys up to age 10.

The frequency of these syllabus classes is as follows:

For Waqifat Age group 7-14, at least 1 monthly Waqf Nau Class is arranged in all Lajna Majalis where there are Waqifat Nau.

For Waqifin Age group 7-14, the frequency can be anywhere from 1 to 3 classes in all Jama’ats where there are Waqifin nau.

Please note that for children under 7, the classes frequency can be anywhere from 1 to 3 in a month.

2. Memorization Classes at Regional/Local Level

         The memorization class is intended for the following age groups of Wafifin and Waqifat Nau Canada.

Boys: Age 6 – 10 (Class is managed by In Charge Waqifat Nau)

Boys: Age 11-14 (Class is managed by Secretary Waqf Nau)

Girls: Age 6 – 14 (Class is managed by In Charge Waqifat Nau)

Class are preferably arranged every week (where possible) for one-one and half hours.

Objective of Memorization Classes (What we cover)

The class is arranged to assist the Waqf Nau boys and girls accomplish the following:

Holy Qur`an

Memorization of following chapters of the Holy Qur`an

Level 1	Last 10 Chapters of the Holy Qur`an	Chapter An-Nas to Al-Fil
Level 2	Last 15 Chapters of the Holy Qur`an	Chapter Al-Humaza to Al-Adiyat
Level 3	Last 20 Chapters of the Holy Qur`an	Chapter Al-Zilzal to Al-Tin
Level 4	Last 25 Chapters of the Holy Qur`an adn First 17 verses of Chapter Al-Baqarah	Chapter Al-Inshirah to Al-Balad
